IPL FotoFacial Treatment — A Light At The End Of The Tunnel

You work out. You eat right. You pay attention to your body. Shouldn’t you pay as much attention to your face? As you age the world around you begins to leave its mark on your skin—from sun damage and pollutants to stress and medical conditions, all chipping away at your complexion leaving it pigmented and lackluster. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel (no, not that tunnel, we’re not quite that fatalistic) we’re talking about intense pulsed light used in photo rejuvenation treatments such as IPL FotoFacial. Blue Medi Spa in Sherman Oaks offers IPL FotoFacial and it’s just the thing for discoloration, acne scars and age/brown spots. Don’t take our word for it, visit Los Angeles’ premier medi beauty destination, Blue Medi Spa for IPL FotoFacial and you’ll see the proof is in the results.

What happens during IPL FotoFacial treatment?

During the IPL FotoFacial treatment, the patient is provided with safety goggles and a cooling gel is administered to treatment areas. The provider then directs the hand piece against the area being treated. With each light pulse the patient may feel a quick and gentle squeezing feeling. IPL FotoFacial treatment takes approximately 20 minutes. Patients may experience some redness to the treated area immediately after treatment but within a few hours the redness will decrease. Patients may resume regular activity right after the procedure. Practitioners generally recommend a series of four to six IPL FotoFacial treatments set at intervals of three to four weeks.
